A Stroll Through the Village | Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Piano, Percussion | Isabel Goodwin, 2017
Written while visiting a German village, this piece is inspired by the interest and character a walk through the center of the village can be. The chimes specifically represent the church bells that would play each hour, and which could be heard each morning when we'd wake up. The title is credited to my wonderful younger cousins I had visited, Ava and Olivia, and the piece is written as a tribute to their lovely home.
